Hits Speciallita flakie polish in Twist over Color Club Metamorphosis! So pretty! Blue/green flakies are my favorite, and they’re in a blue jelly base in the Hits polish…me likey. I put them over a teal foil so I wouldn’t have to use to much of the polish, but I don’t think it honestly showed up much? Either way, I included a messy picture of the base color to be thorough. :)
Here’s a pornalicious pic of a pile of all my most HTF/expensive polishes just because. :) *drools*
Chanel Peridot just missed making it into this picture, but it might be a new favorite! SO pretty!!
Going old school! This is Sally Hansen Magical Nail Makeup in Copper Cauldron - a linear holo that probably deserves to be in a museum at its’ age, but I’d rather have it on my nails. :) In full sun, then partially shaded.
Lynnderella Forget You Not over NYX Royal Blue. I love the periwinkle on navy scheme, it makes it look so floral! AAND another super-duper macro shot from under the microscope. :P
Stripe-y mani with scotch-taped stripes of Zoya Gemma and OPI Planks A Lot, with OPI DS Sapphire accent stripes. After a day, I added OPI Pirouette My Whistle to spice things up!
I made nail polish jewelry!!! Yayy! I am still waiting for the ring backs to arrive for all those cabochons, but I loooove my two finished pieces! So happy!
The ring is Sinful Colors Innocent over Color Club Nouveau Vintage, the pendant has Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, Sally Hansen Spectrum, OPI DS Glamour, and China Glaze Gr8.
For the little gems, the middle is Lynnderella Heart of the Matter (which is not a polish she sold to anyone, but included it as an extra for someone who decanted me a bit) over Revlon Starry Pink. From the top left holo one around clockwise, they are 1) China Glaze 2nite 2) Essence Blue Addicted 3) Lynnderella Connect The Dots over CND Guava 4) OPI DS Glamour 5) Ozotic 505 over 506 over black 6) Lynnderella Mystrious Ways over Barielle Slate of Affairs and 7) Ludurana Arco Iris over OPI Merry Midnight (Orly Fowl Play is a dupe for this) over Revlon Royal. :)
Oh, and on my nails is Revlon Whimsical over OPI Funny Bunny. :)
Do you love them as much as I do?!
I wanted to do an ombre, and it turns out I have a bajillion mint greens! My stash definitely needs some de-duping in the tifffany blue area, lol. For this, I ended up picking out (thumb to pinky) OPI Jade is the New Black, Catrice I Sea You, OPI Mermaid’s Tears, Funky Fingers Choco-Mint, and Essie Mint Candy Apple. I am not entirely happy with the transition between middle and ring fingers, but I swear it blends better in real life! Mermaid’s Tears is a liitle too dusty, or Choco-Mint is too blue. Still looks cute though. :) I guess this could be a cute St. Patty’s day mani too, if you like themed nails.
Butter London on Butter London ruffian! I wore the base color, All Hail the Queen for a day, and then added Victoria on top for my ruffian. I will try a contrasting ruffian at some point, but I thought these shades were complimentary in a nice way. AHTQ is a really interesting holographic nude-y brown, and Victoriana is a beauuutiful dusty greenish blue that has a TON of silver shimmer.
(Next time I think I would not use a nude-ish color for my base. In some lights this mani looks like I just have really grown-out polish on, haha! On the other hand, it was a neat effect to make my nails look shorter without having to actually chop ‘em down.)
Zoya Crystal. Blue and gold, my school colors! :) This one is a dupe of the long-discontinued OPI Reflecting Pool. It is a metallic light blue base with gold flecks. Love this color!
Revlon Starry Pink! I’m not a fan of pink…or things that are really girly…but this polish made me embrace my inner princess! :) I thought I’d try it since I expected to hate it despite all the positive hype…I loved it. xD I think it’s my favorite of all their new glitters *barring* Whimsical…provided I can get my hands on that some day.
(please excuse my lack of cleanup :P)
